Contact lens technology is advancing rapidly and we are happy to have many healthy options for all contact lens wearers. Our job is to fit you with contacts that meet your vision demands and provide you with the comfort and convenience you want while keeping your eyes healthy. We have access to most any contact available and carry many contacts in stock. We also specialize in difficult to fit cases, so no matter what your prescription, we will have you seeing clearly.
All of our contact exams include a glasses prescription and trial lenses so we can evaluate the comfort and how the lens is fitting before we finalize the prescription. We will work with you on the proper way to handle and care for your contacts and cover the recommended wear schedule for the lenses you choose. We also include all necessary follow care and a solution starter kit.
Below are some of the contact brands and types that we prefer:
- Acuvue Oasys, Acuvue Advance, Acuvue 2, Acuvue Multifocal
- Cooper Avaira, Cooper Biofinity, Cooper Proclear, Cooper Proclear Multifocal
- Ciba Night & Day, Ciba Air Optix, Ciba Air Optix Multifocal
- Bausch & Lomb Purevision and Purevision 2, Bausch & Lomb Soflens
- RGP Contacts
A final note: contacts are considered a "medical device" by the FDA and are therefore controlled and, as such, contact lens prescriptions are only good for one year from the initial exam date. Contacts do have the potential to cause considerable damage to the eye, so it is for your benefit to have your eyes checked yearly so we can be sure they are healthy and the contacts are not causing harm to the cornea. You only get two eyes...take care of them!
